Privacy Policy

This explains what WhichAI collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: you can browse and search the whole site without an account, we only ask for data when you contribute, and we do not track you for advertising.
You can use most of the site without giving us anything
Browsing the rankings, searching for a task, opening the directory and reading reviews require no account and no sign-in. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not build a profile of what you read.
We ask for information only when you want to take part — leaving a review, voting head-to-head, or claiming a page as a provider.
What we collect when you sign in
Signing in uses Google. We never see or store your Google password. From your Google profile we receive and store:
- Your name and profile picture, shown next to anything you post
- Your email address, used to identify your account — it is never shown publicly
- A unique account identifier
What we collect when you contribute
- Reviews and star ratings you write, with the AI they refer to
- Head-to-head votes and helpful votes you cast
- Your trust level and contribution count, which determine how much your votes weigh
- If you claim a page as a provider: the work email and any supporting detail you supply, plus a record of every edit you make to that page
To keep rankings meaningful we run an anti-bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) the first time you contribute. That check processes technical signals including your IP address. We use your IP for that verification and for ordinary server logs; we do not use it to track you around the site.
What is public, and what is not
Public: your display name, profile picture, trust badge, and any review, rating or vote you cast. Reviews are the point of the site, so treat anything you write as public and permanent-ish.
Not public: your email address, and the edit history of a claimed page — that is visible only to the provider who holds the page and to site administrators.
Cookies
We set one cookie: the session that keeps you signed in. It is essential — without it you would be signed out on every page. There are no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies, which is why you have not been asked to accept any.
Who else processes your data
We use a small number of services to run the site. Each only receives what it needs:

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Your account and contributions stay until you ask us to delete them. Rankings are recomputed from votes and reviews, so removing your contributions changes the scores they fed into.
Your choices
- See or correct your data — most of it is on your profile and the pages you have posted to
- Delete a review at any time by removing it from the AI's page
- Delete your account and everything attached to it, by emailing us
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you
Account deletion is not yet self-serve. Email admin@4whichai.com and we will remove your account, your reviews and your votes. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
WhichAI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top and say so on the site. Continuing to use WhichAI after a change means you accept the updated policy.
